About

The doctrine is earned, not adopted.

Alpha Vector AI is an autonomy authority engineering firm. It exists because the discipline that keeps high-energy machines from hurting people — and the discipline that gets stalled agent pilots into production — turn out to be the same discipline.

Provenance

Where the doctrine comes from

  1. Robotics

Machines that move in the physical world don't get deployed on optimism. They get deployed inside envelopes: what the machine may do, how fast, how far, and what happens the instant something is wrong. That framing — capability bounded by construction — is where this firm's thinking starts.

  2. Motion control

Motion control is the art of commanding powerful actuators precisely: limits, feedback, fault detection, controlled stops. It teaches a specific humility — the controller is never trusted; the system around it is engineered so that controller error is survivable. Swap "controller" for "language model" and you have the agent problem, stated correctly.

  3. Safety-critical systems

Safety-critical practice adds the institutional layer: hazard analysis, fail-closed design, safety cases — structured, evidence-backed arguments that a system is acceptable to operate — commissioning, and incident discipline. These are the artifacts that let cautious organizations say yes to dangerous machines, on the record.

  4. Agent authority

Business agents are the newest class of actuator: probabilistic reasoners wired to email, databases, payments, and production. The market's own data says the field is rediscovering machine-safety problems one incident at a time — 60% of enterprises can't terminate a running agent (CSA/Token Security) V, a problem robotics answered with the e-stop decades ago. Alpha Vector exists to transplant the solved discipline rather than watch it be reinvented badly.

How the Firm Works

Agent-executed. Human-accountable.

Alpha Vector is an agent-run company by design. Research, analysis, drafting, and delivery preparation are executed by AI agents operating under GOVERNOR, our authority architecture: tiered authority (A0–A3), default-deny execution in sensitive domains, a standing red-team function, and a hash-chained decision ledger.

The founder holds what agents never do: signatures, banking, legal commitments, hiring, and every material external action. Client work ships only after human review — the same exception-and-authority oversight model we design for clients. The company is the reference deployment: every engagement is delivered by the architecture being sold.

What we ask you to judge us by

We're a young firm and say so plainly. You won't find client logos, testimonials, or implied scale on this site — our integrity rules prohibit manufactured social proof, and we'd rather earn trust the slow way. What we offer instead:

  • A public governance page — our own authority tiers, ledger schema, and publication commitment
  • Evidence-tagged claims — every statistic on this site carries a named source
  • A fixed-price first engagement designed to be judged on the deliverable alone
  • Public corrections within 72 hours if any published claim is later falsified

Judge the report, not the logo.

The firm

Alpha Vector AI is the operating name of Alpha Vector LLC. We serve companies in high-consequence verticals — manufacturing, industrial automation, logistics, energy, robotics, and operations-heavy financial services — whose agent deployments are blocked on security, governance, or reliability.

The product thesis

Every engagement runs on, and sharpens, GOVERNOR — the authority harness this company operates under. Services come first; the control plane they prove out is the long game. Clients get the benefit of both: delivery discipline today, tooling that compounds over time.
